Spelling Bee

An eclectic group of six-graders (performed by adults) arrives at the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, each eager to win for very different reasons. In hilarious, touching, and catchy songs, each speller reveals his/her hopes, struggles, and passions as they make their way through the competition as a larger metaphor for ‘life’.

Register today for Stage 2 Skill Based Summer Camp!

In this exciting new program, Stage 2 campers have the opportunity to craft their experience by selecting from a variety of theatre related workshops, in addition to participating in classes in vocal music, drama and dance. The focus of this program is on gaining new skills and trying new things - which campers will showcase to friends and family at the end of the session. This program rotates between two themes, meaning that campers can attend two sessions and have an entirely new experience each time!

Campers may participate in up to two Skill Based sessions (by choosing one week of each theme).

Weeks 1, 3 and 5: Skills Camp takes over the circus! Learn about singing, dancing, and acting along with traditional circus skills like juggling, clowning, and contortion! Week 1 starts on July 3! Learn more »

Weeks 2, 4 & 6: Skills Camp explores myths, legends, fairy tales, and tall tales through musical theatre! Learn musical theatre skills while also exploring the world of legends and fairies through makeup, creating adventures, movie special effects, and more!  Week 2 starts July 10. Learn more »
