Theatre Ancaster is a community musical theatre company with a reputation for quality productions.  Our mandate is to present excellent quality live musical theatre to the community and to assist in the development of musical theatre among the adults and youth of the community.

Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap

The longest running play in the world!

Mystery and intrigue descend on an English boarding house when one of the guests is murdered and Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap springs into action. One by one, each of the guests reveal their sordid pasts until the last, nerve-shredding moment when the killer’s identity and motive are finally revealed. Agatha Christie’s most famous thriller will leave you guessing until the very end!

Discover why The Mousetrap has kept people guessing for so long, becoming the longest running play in the history of theatre. Opening on Friday the 13th of September at the Old Firehall, join us to see if you have what it takes to outwit the murderer!

Mamma Mia

Set on a Greek island paradise and inspired by ABBA’s iconic songs, this heart-warming tale centres on Sophie, a young bride-to-be. On the eve of her wedding, Sophie’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.  This celebration of love, family and friendship is exactly what the world needs right now.  Plan for an uplifting, fun-filled night when Theatre Ancaster’s Mamma Mia! hits the stage this Fall!
